The virtual training programs at Impactable are self-paced. You will not be restricted to certain schedules and you can access them whenever it’s most convenient for you. In order to motivate you to finish your courses on time, take the test, and get your certificate, access to your courses will be limited to 3 months. This means that after this time expires, and you haven’t managed to finish your course, you will have to purchase it again and start from scratch. This is why we advise you to choose wisely when the time is right for you to start your course.

The training programs we offer at Impactable are a mix of virtual modules and in-house training. The virtual modules can be accessed through your own devices and completed at your own pace. Learn more about our training programme delivery here.

Before you start, if you still haven’t done it, you will need to create an Impactable account (see how here). After you log into your student account, go to our main menu on the top of the page and under Training in the dropdown menu choose the page Accountancy training. This button will take you to all of our in-person training where you will be able to select the ones that fit you the best. There are quite a few skills you need to develop to be successful as an accountant in practice, but the most important is proficiency in accounting software. The majority of your work will be done within software like BrightPay, Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage, and you need to be well-versed in using them to be effective in your job. No, you do not need an accountancy degree before training with Impactable, but having one may be extremely helpful during the application process.
